The timing however coincides with a dinner party thrown by his parents and their dear friend, Lina who has intentions on setting up her son Nino with Angelo’s sister Anna and brings with her to the party a girl named Pina, who might be “perfect” for Angelo. The makings of a classic farce!

From the Tony Award-winning songwriting team of Lynn Ahrens and Stephen
Flaherty ("Ragtime", "Seussical" and the animated film "Anastasia"), this
highly original and theatrical adaptation of the popular fairy tale "The
Little Mermaid" sings and dances the story of Ti Moune, the peasant girl who
rescues, nurses and falls in love with Daniel, a young man from a wealthy
family. When Daniel is returns to his people, the gods who rule the island
guide Ti Moune on a quest to test the strength of her love against the
powerful forces of prejudice, hatred and death.

A Family musical suitable for the young and young at heart, "Once On This
Island" is an intimate, vibrant and colourful show with a moving and
uplifting score that captures the imagination of its audience.
